I’m guessing that many of you are reading this because you  just don’t have the gold you need to do everything you want to in WoW. A lot of players have found themselves in this position, including me.

Maybe you can’t afford to twink out those alts you want to level up or buy heirloom items, cold weather flying and dual specs for them. Perhaps you are just scraping by on raid consumables and you are tired of having to spend hours doing boring crap to make gold just so you can raid.

Perhaps you have even thought about buying gold? But that’s a one way ticket to a hacked account and getting your credit card details stolen, so please, read on and learn about a better way to make gold!

A great way to get started is to get hold of this guide full of gold-making strategies. That way you will have a detailed explanation of ALL the strategies you need to know to get started making gold without having to play hours a day to do it. Here are are just a few strategies you can try:

• If you are leveling, learn two gathering professions. Gathering professions make you more gold than other professions for a few reasons. Gathering is easy. All you need to do is find a node, gather from it then send the stuff to the auction house to sell. You don’t have to find or buy rare ingredients like you do when you craft items to sell And you can sell items that you gather in volume. Players don’t want to buy just one copper bar, they want to buy as many as you can sell!  That means plenty of gold for you and its easy to make. The most profitable professions can vary with each patch, but mining is usually a good choice.

The great thing about this method is you can earn rep, pets, achievements, titles and heirlooms at the same time as making gold. It a great strategy for people who enjoy questing and exploring.

• If buying low and selling high on the Auction House sounds like a great way to make gold to you, then you’d be right. This is an awesome and fast way to make gold in WoW that requires absolutely no farming. The trick is to find a strategy that suits your play style and doesn’t bore you stupid. The best gold making strats are not only effective, but they don’t take hours of your time (*cough* killing the same mobs over and over for hours is not a good way to make gold )
